Essential Duties

  • Complete daily accounting responsibilities, such as:
    • Revenue and COGS recognition process
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Cash management
    • Journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Maintaining detailed Excel schedules such as prepaids and fixed assets
    • Assist in the approval and general ledger classification of non-po invoices
  • Responsible for timely completion of month-end close
  • Provide accurate monthly financial reports and department budget to actual reports to management
  • Prepare key performance indicator reports including commentary
  • Collect, consolidate and provide information needed for external financial audits, corporate tax returns and monthly state sales tax filings
  • Work with CFO and Controller to complete projects and ad hoc assignments as required

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a staff accountant role
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. G.A.A.P.
  • P.A. preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency; intermediate Excel skills is a must
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
  • Proactive and analytical, with the ability to work with a sense of urgency with minimal supervision
  • Highly detailed oriented and organized, with the ability to multi-task several projects on short deadlines
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and open environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
