Job Summary

As an Associate Product Owner you will help improve performance and refine platform functionality by collaborating with developers, designers and business stakeholders. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, have great attention to details as well as excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor, identify, prioritize and resolve platform issues
  • Develop and champion platform roadmap based on requests from internal business partners and personal findings
  • Work with developers to clarify requirements and negotiate the scope of the proposed enhancements
  • Enforce and monitor established feature management process
  • Evaluate platform and feature performance
  • Measure impact of feature improvements
  • Interact with internal clients to define and document feature improvements
  • Work with designers to create user friendly functionality
  • Create and document feature enhancement requirements
  • Facilitate requirements gathering meetings
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ year experience with:
    • Hands-on B2C e-commerce site improvements and maintenance
    • Writing functional requirements for e-commerce site
  • Working knowledge of best practices in e-commerce and user-centric design
  • Practical knowledge in roadmap development, requirements definition and feature prioritization
  • Hands on experience with web technologies or software development
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Some experience with or knowledge of web analytics tools
  • Understanding of software development methodologies
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Proven track record of envisioning and implementing solutions to meet business goals
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to motivate and influence teams without direct authority

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in:
    • Web development (any language)
    • Google Analysts (GA360)
    • Google Search Console
    • Agile environment (any role)
    • JIRA and Confluence
    • Project Management (any methodology)
